At long last, we finally have a new site! We decided to get rid of the all-singing, all-dancing Flash nonsense and keep things simple; putting a focus on the films before anything else.
Man of Straw - premiere at Roxy Bar & Screen // 14th January, 2009
Midnight Expresso’s Man of Straw will premiere at The Roxy Bar & Screen this Saturday, 17th January from 6pm. Preceeded by Fred Grace’s documentary, Tornado Of Fame, the video will be followed by a live performance by Midnight Expresso himself later in the evening.

The music promo of Midnight Expresso’s Man of Straw wraps after a two-day shoot around Old Street, East London. Produced with White Night Films, the video was shot by M himself on full 1080 HD with Canon stills lenses.
Sweet Sorrow wins award // 1st January, 2009
News has just come in that Sweet Sorrow has won the coveted Aloha Accolade at this year’s Honolulu International Film Festival in March!
Taylor & Parker comedy pilot complete // 18th December, 2008
The comedy pilot for Comediennes Taylor & Parker has been completed. Turned around as a side project in three days, and written by the performers, M acted as Director, Producer & Editor on this fun little piece.
AYO: ‘That’s My Shhh…’ post complete // 6th November, 2008
Post-production has completed on the promo for Ayo’s latest single, scheduled for release early 2009.

Filming has completed after one day in East London on Ayo’s new hip-hop promo. Entirely designed a greenscreen concept, the promo enters its post-production phase.
TGX - certificate granted by BBFC // 20th June, 2006
TGX, the epic co-production between Joker’s Pack and Torture Garden, has been officially certificated by the BBFC. The film has been rated 18, and will be released on DVD soon. Keep checking our news column for updates on its release, or go to www.torturegarden.com (mature audiences only)
Post production begins on True To Form // 7th June, 2006
Rushes synched and organized, editing has begun on True To Form, Mark J. Blackman using Apple’s Final Cut HD whilst Elliot Jay Storks, Neil Marsh and Tom Wiltshire work on the film’s score and ambiences.
True To Form wraps // 2nd June, 2006
Principal photography on True To Form wrapped last night, on budget and on schedule. The challenging six day shoot on this super-16 dramatic mini-epic was only made possible by an exceptional cast and crew who went above and beyond with regards to talent, skill and sheer likeability, ensuring the shoot was also an utter pleasure!

TGX world premiere // 22nd May, 2006
Joker’s Pack and Torture Garden’s epic production, TGX, had its world-premiere last night at Cargo in central London. Amongst those present were the crew and performers of the film, which was met with rapturous applause by a packed audience.Drinks (perhaps too many) rounded off the evening, as well as live music and special performances by world-famous Burlesque artists Masuimi Max and Empress Stah.
M J Blackman - award winner, Promax Vienna // 9th May, 2006
Mark J. Blackman has won the prestigious Rocket Award at the Promax BDA awards in Vienna! The award is handed out to newcomers to the industry who have show impeccable progress from amateur to professional in the television content promotions industry.
TGX DVD mastered // 1st May, 2006
The TGX DVD has finally been mastered, and the film is currently awaiting certification by the BBFC. Among the extras upon the loaded disc are:
